I'm reading a book called, "RUN," by Matt Fitzgerald. In his book, he talks about believing. You can't do what you don't believe you can do. On the other hand, if you believe you can, then you probably can...there are still the physical limitations that come into play, but still, believing is such a big contributor to what you can do. For example, if your child came to you and said that they wanted to shoot for the olympics in a certain sport, would you want a coach for them who says, "Well, it's a long shot...." or one who says, "you absolutely have what it takes?" The latter! Why? Because belief is huge. Having someone believe in you, brings you to believing in yourself more readily, and the target is instantly drawn nearer.
